Program Description

The International Academy of Martial Arts, one of the best schools in the southwest providing the best in Martial Arts and life education, would like to introduce you to Chi Tai Ki Do-Karate...the style for the new millennium. Chi Tai Ki Do-Karate has its roots in traditional martial arts, but has the versatility and wisdom to face the challenges of the future. Their goal is the total development of the mind, body, and spirit.

The International Academy of Martial Arts, reflects and draws on the roots and experiences of it's instructors. It combine their various backgrounds and influences into cohesive program of knowledge and physical training. Their teachings incorporate the Japanese and Okinawan styles of Shotokan and Shorin-Ryu Karate, Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Russian Sambo and the Korean Moo Kwan Tae Kwon Do.

International Academy of Martial Arts Philosophy:

They do not incorporate any religious aspects to their training, but they do believe in totally committing themselves to the improvement of many mental disciplines such as confidence, respect, self-discipline & focus. These principles alone can help a child or an adult on the road to success in life.

Ages 4 - 7:

An excellent way to begin to socialize your children and get them ready for the school environment in a fun, athletic, and mildly disciplined setting. After a day in the classroom, International Academy of Martial Arts provide a productive and directed release of physical energy. This also helps fulfill the weekly requirements for exercise that all children need, while reinforcing the social skills learned in school.

Ages 8 - 12:

This program stresses the importance of physical activity in the overall well being of the student. They build strength and flexibility and improve coordination that can be the foundation of a life long exercise and wellness program. As the children mature, the instructors introduce them to the importance of being aware of their surroundings.
