Program Description

The Junior Clinics at the Nicklaus Academy teaches kids from ages 8 - 16, the complete game of golf from putting to chipping to full swing and on-course etiquette. All classes are open to the public and are held at the Nicklaus Academy at the Dragon Ridge CC in Henderson, Nevada. This is the perfect opportunity to introduce all juniors to the game, or for those that already play the game, to learn properly from the professional instructors at the Academy.

The Junior Clinics at the Nicklaus Academy will follow the comprehensive curriculum taught at every Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf around the world. The total learning system focuses on the basic fundamentals while customizing the instruction to match the strengths of the students. The Nicklaus Academy features a climate controlled teaching facility so weather conditions are not an issue. A private short-game area allows students to learn in a quiet, enjoyable environment. And there are plenty of open practice areas to fine-tune all aspects of the game. Age specific training aids are employed to keep the instruction FUN and engaging.

Clubs and balls are provided to all students who require them. Golf attire and manners are required at all times while at the Academy and at Dragon Ridge Country Club.
