Program Description

This class is for intermediate fencers ages 7 - 14. The class is designed to allow students to continue to develop their physical, mental and emotional skills necessary to succeed. Classes are available three days a week. USFA membership and full fencing protective gear and electric equipment is required. Students must pass a test and become a member of FAN (Fencing Academy of Nevada) to be eligible for the class.

Saturday: 12:00PM - 1:30PM

Pricing:

$210.00 For One Month, up to three classes per week

Annual Registration Fee will be collected on the first class date.

The Academy features 14 strips, 8 of which are grounded, and the latest in electronic scoring equipment. The Academy focuses on the sportsmanship, respect, and traditions of fencing. They believe it is the process by which a person becomes a fencer that is important, and offer a supportive training program that focuses on the fencer as an individual.

Fencing at the Academy is under the direction of Head Coach, Maitra Yves Auriol, 4 - time U.S. Olympic team coach, 17-year head coach at University of Notre Dame, NCAA Coach of the Year, and 2007 USFA Hall of Fame.
