Program Description
A rich environment instructing students in American Sign Language, English, reading, writing, mathematics and speech/lipreading (lipreading is an important skill to have, but it is not an education) that follows Nevada Department of Education Standards. Deaf and hearing individuals must be well-trained, and have excellent communication and language skills to become highly qualified effective teachers. Students will learn about the Deaf and hearing culture, which prepares them to be successful in the hearing world.
