Program Description
The newest class at United States Institute of Amateur Athletics. This class is learning the basics of Pilipino American Mix Martial Arts. Its taught by a cultural instructor, as well as a martial arts instructor. United States Institute of Amateur Athletics (USIAA), is a non-profit organization, mainly a community group outreach-Christian organization. Their main goal is to get kids out of crime and educate the community with hope and teach kids the value of school and family.
Self defense class consist on self defense you defending yourself from harm self awareness and alertness. Self defense consist of mind and body discipline and health awareness. Pilipino Martial Arts is based on stick defensive martial arts, it is from the Philippines. It is also seen in movies such as Hanna and Bourne Supremacy. The pilipino martial arts is know as arnis-escrima-kali. It enables a self contained disciple of life to protect from harms way and also danger. Mix Martial Arts is a combined training from cardio self defense to kick boxing as well, judo-jui jitsu-freestyle wrestling all defensive and self defense is added to the class.
