Program Description
The camp is named for the 19th century basket weaver named Dat-So-La-Lee, who was a member of the Washoe tribe of northwestern Nevada and the Lake Tahoe region. She is considered by many to have been the greatest Indian basket weaver in recorded history. Her baskets are found in private collections around the world, and in prestigious museums like the Smithsonian. Her baskets are displayed in the Nevada State Museum and Historical Society.
